I’ve been reading about TheMovieDownloads.com for some time on various review sites, and was very skeptical at first, but at just under $35 for a lifetime membership I figured I would give it a go! I was really pleased with the result. Setting up the software was really easy, and if you’re prepared to spend just 5-10 mins of your time reading the online tutorials before you start then you will learn exactly how to download a whole range of DVD-quality movies using the software supplied.

The download speeds were fast, although some movies take longer than others – it seems to depend on the time of day and the number of people who are sharing any particular movie. The Movie Downloads allows you to download movies simultaneously from multiple users, so the more people who are sharing the movie the faster it will download. The online tutorials will explain all of this and also explain how to choose the movies with the best quality for download. The better quality movies are larger in size and take longer to download, so what I normally do is I queue up 3-4 movies overnight and leave my computer on with the downloading software running. Then by the time I get up for work in the morning, the downloads are complete! All-in-all I give this site the thumbs-up and give it 5 stars. When you consider that it costs less than a couple of DVDs it really is well worth it.”
